After a dismal first half of the season followed by failing to make the All-Star team last week, things are suddenly looking up for David Wright and the Mets. An injured player put the handsome runner-up back on the National League team, and the Mets are suddenly on a nine-game winning streak, just a half-game behind the Phillies for first place in their division.
