I Love a Man in Uniform

I haven't had any interest in any of the Iraq war movies that have been flooding the marketplace lately (9/11 films either, for that matter), but "Stop-Loss" may be the one to bring me into the theater. Aside from the obvious -- Ryan Phillippe and Channing Tatum are both hot and I'm dying to see the chemistry between Ryan and Abbie Cornish that broke up his perfect marriage to Elle Woods Reese Witherspoon -- it's the first film to address a war issue that I am interested in: what's going to become of these poor kids who have had to serve in the Middle East virtually nonstop for 5 (or 100?) years.

The film is co-written and directed by Kimberly Peirce who directed "Boys Don't Cry," and will be in theaters March 28th . You can the trailer, at StopLossMovie.com.
