Who's Crying Now?

Hillary Clinton won the New Hampshire primary. It's not that I'm the president of the Hillary fan club (I like her, but recognize her many flaws), but I'm so disgusted with the way the media decides what "the story" is and runs with it, regardless of the truth. My sources in New Hampshire told me that Hillary's rallies were every bit as big and energetic as Barack Obama's, yet if you'd turned the television on yesterday you'd have thought she was dropping out of the race. It's fun to have it be competitive. Truth be told, Clinton, Obama or John Edwards are a-OK with me.

UPDATE: To illustrate just how incredibly stupid my fellow media types are being, Tim Russert called Clinton's victory "one of the greatest political upsets in American political history." (Need I say more?)

As far as Russert's comment...whatever the media's bias with Obama, several polls showed him beating Hillary by 10 points are more, while only a few showed him beating her by single digits.

Thus, the "upset."

i think pity votes are irresponsible. votes for someone just because they're black, white, red, yellow, or woman is also irresponsible.
