  • RIP: Christopher Bowman, the former U.S. figure skating champion called “Bowman the Showman” for his flare on the ice, was found dead of a possible drug overdose Thursday in a Los Angeles motel room. A sad ending for the former child actor who had had numerous run-ins with the law in recent years, including a drunken gun incident in Rochester Hills, Mich. (Madonna country) and a brawl in Pittsburgh during his time with the Ice Capades. (AP)

  • Her Love Is King: Maybe Oprah Winfrey's beard significant other, Stedman Graham, isn't so significant after all. (MSNBC)

  • Unsolved Mystery: Looks like we'll never know what killed Kanye West's mother, Donda. I wonder if Jan Adams will be allowed to return to "Plastic Surgery: Before and After" now that her autopsy shows no sign of "surgical or anesthetic misadventure." (AP)

  • Favr-orite Son: Being a professional quarterback since 1991 can't be easy on the body, but Green Bay hunk Brett Favre says he's leaning toward coming back for another season. Needless to say, his fans are elated. (AP)

  • Cold Cash: While the buddies of the dead man whose "friends" tried to "Weekend at Bernie's" his ass to a check-cashing shop insist he would have loved pulling "one last scam," it turns out one of the man's sisters was working at the shop where the plot was hatched. That's pretty cold to do to someone. (NYT)

  • Designer Love: Canada's former "Designer Guys" hosts Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman have officially come out as lovers, and have just taped the first episode of their new daytime lifestyle show, "Steven and Chris." Oh, my. Who next, Thom Felicia and David Bromstad? (BGay)

  • Eye on Settling? A judge said Wednesday that he was leaning toward allowing Dan Rather's $70 million lawsuit over his being fired by CBS to proceed. (AP)

  • Tragic Ending: A 14-year-old girl in England committed suicide because of gay taunting at her school, according to London's Daily Mail. Allen's body was found in Southwater. which is West Sussex county. Investigators said she had tied a scarf around her neck and hanged herself from a tree. (MetroUK)

  • Workplace Safety: The Human Rights Campaign has released its 2008 list of "Best Places to Work for GLBT Equality." The list names 195 U.S. companies and I'm happy (proud?) to see my employer is on the list. Check here to see if yours is, too.

  • (Wedding) Garden State: The group that won a New Jersey Supreme Court ruling in 2006 that said same-sex couples must have the same legal rights as married pairs is urging the state legislature to move forward on a marriage equality bill. (365Gay)
