So Martha Quinn

Bravo to the young workers over at MTV Networks who walked off the job yesterday in protest of Viacom's decision to cut benefits for so-called "permalancers" -- people who work full-time but do not receive the same benefits as "real" employees. But it concerns me when I read in The New York Times that the largely unorganized protest found its footing when a worker climbed atop a garbage can and began chanting: "We care about dental. We care about health care. We care about our 401(k)s!" Catchy, guys. Why not jazz it up a bit and add, "And we care about some other unspecified items that we can discuss at a future date!" to this memorable battle call ...
