Page 1 Consider (12/07)

  • Coffee Grounds: Chelsea Clinton can't get a seat at Starbucks either. I wonder if she brought her television.

  • Suicide Blond: I've said it before but I will say it again, Owen Wilson: Nothing helps you get over a suicide attempt like running around in your undies in Peru with Woody Harrelson. (IHT)

  • Dateline Bangor: A high school girls softball coach was not discriminated against when the school decided not to renew her for another year a judge in Maine has ruled. It was the first lawsuit alleging sexuality bias under Maine's law barring discrimination against gays and lesbians in jobs, housing and credit that was passed last year. For 14 years Kelly Jo Cookson was the girls softball coach at Brewer High School, in Brewer, Maine. She sued the school for discrimination alleging that she was not renewed after she was outed by a fellow coach. Cookson's suit also alleged that Brewer School Department and Superintendent Daniel Lee slandered her when he told two parents that he "knew things about Kelly that I can't share publicly." The school argued in court that Cookson, 45, was not rehired because she had engaged in hazing of student players. (365Gay)

  • Married Mates: Australia's new Prime Minister said Thursday that his government will not stand in the way of legislation in the state of Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory to recognize same-sex unions -- marked departure from the position of his predecessor. (365Gay)

  • Inside the Mind of a Killer: The young man who killed eight people and committed suicide in a shooting rampage at a mall in Omaha, Neb., spent four years in a series of treatment centers, group homes and foster care after threatening to kill his stepmother in 2002. (AP)

  • Perez Who? Read these posts about Britney Spears and Joan Van Ark and you'll see why What Would Tyler Durden Do? is my favorite new blog. (WWTDD)

  • Preppie Killer: Robert Chambers' girlfriend says she is standing by her man. (NYDN)

  • Making Progress: President Luiz Inazio Lula da Silva of Brazil has called LGBT civil rights leaders to a precedent setting summit to discuss gay rights legislation and battling homophobia. Could this forward-thinking be part of the reason that new gay magazines are suddenly coming out in Brazil -- like the sexy De Outro Modo, or DOM for short. (MadeInBrazil)

  • Crack Addict: Speaking of Brazil, check out these sexy photos of 25-year-old Wagner Limeira, the second soccer player to grace the cover of G magazine and pose for the publication this year. More here ( semi-risque).

  • Something in Common: It's nice to know that evangelical Christians and Mormons hate each other (nothing like calling someone's faith a "cult") and can't agree on anything -- except wanting to discriminate against the gays. (AP)
