Heavy Rotation: MGMT

I just got an advance copy of "Oracular Spectacular," the long-awaited major label debut by the futuristic pop-rock duo MGMT and I'm quickly getting hooked. Allmusic says MGMT (pronounced Management) finds "an unlikely middle point between Suicide's hostile proto-electro punk art noise and the sardonic, studied, but ultimately pop-friendly sound of the Flaming Lips" (huh?), but you can listen to them perform their new single, "Time to Pretend," below, and decide for yourself. You can also get tour information and hear more music on the band's MySpace here. "Oracular Spectacular" is slated for release in January.

I believe 'Oracular Spectacular' is already available in the iTunes US store. Love your blog, btw!!!

There are several better MGMT vids on YouTube. This one unfortunately has some drunk in the crowd singing over the actual band singers. MGMT sounds way better than this.

Definitely going to check this band out! Can't agree more with
"ryanirish71" comments about your great blog.

Yes, who in this world doesn't love all those NSFW pics but you do get tired with that kind of blogs,it's the same good ole
"elephant trunks" down there between the legs.Yes, of course the
sizes, uncut, etc. Somehow,I keep on going back here because I need balance.
Like they said(or was it from an old song?). Even too much love will
kill you.
To MGMT, here I come!
