Shmemmy Award Winner Kathy Griffin!

Well, it wasn't the "real" Emmys, but our gal Kathy Griffin did win the Outstanding Reality Program award at the 59th Annual Primetime Creative Arts Emmys over the weekend. After causing a (fake-but-nobody-got-it) scene last year storming out in disgust over losing to "those fuckers" at "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," you didn't think Kath would let actually winning stop her from causing trouble, did you? In her acceptance speech, Griffin said that "a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus." She went on to hold up her Emmy and say: "Can you believe this shit? Hell has frozen over. Suck it, Jesus, this award is my god now." E! has since announced that an edited version of Kath's speech will appear on Saturday's broadcast of the event, hence rendering the show pointless. Congrats, Kath!!! (AP)
