On Tuesday, Michael happened upon the set of "American Gangster," the new Denzel Washington-Russell Crowe film about "a drug lord who smuggles heroin into Harlem during the 1970s by hiding the stash inside the coffins of American soldiers returning from Vietnam." Well, Michael wasn't exactly in Harlem (try Chelsea), and I haven't exactly cared for Russell Crowe since he played gay (pre-stardom) in the fantastic father-son flick "The Sum of Us," but being from the Motor City and all I'm a sucker for retro American cars. I almost expect my stepfather's Malibu Classic or my mom's Pontiac Catalina station wagon to come spinning around the corner any second now ... don't it take ya back?
