Morning Glory: Patrick Wilson

Patrick channels his inner-stud in the new film "Little Children"
With "Barefoot" co-star Amanda Peet (below)
Feeling guilty about being so hot in "Angels in America" (above)

I first fell for theater favorite Patrick Wilson as the tortured-but-hot Mormon in HBO's "Angels in America," then recently saw him shine in the Broadway revival of "Barefoot in the Park" (lucky Michael got to see him in "The Full Monty"). Last night I got an e-mail from a reader who is working on Patrick's new film "Little Children" and it reminded me that I had seen a steamy trailer for this new movie in which Patrick sheds his goody-goody image and plays "an ex-jock stay-at-home dad" who is having a torid affair with a stay-at-home mom (Kate Winslet). The stills above give you an idea of what I'm talking about ... the film opens Oct. 6 and I can't wait.
UPDATE: Check out Patrick's super-hot photos from "Little Children" here.

I have been smitten with him since "Angels." Wasn't he recently in some movie where he plays an online sexual predator who ends up being held hostage by a girl he planned to victimize? Too dark for me, I think. But he sure is a treat for the eyes.

He was also Raul in "Phantom of the Opera" -- he's not as hot with a bob, though :b
