Another 'Routine' 2nd-Round Match

In what could have been a final at most tournaments, former U.S. Open champion Marat Safin defeated No. 4 seed David Nalbandian, 6-3, 7-5, 2-6, 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), earlier today to advance to the third round. When Safin's on we all know he's Roger Federer's biggest problem, so let's hope this Russian's resurgence won't be hampered by this second-round slugfest ... (the scoop is here)
