Oh, the early 1990s. The birth of reality television in earnest (with a nod to "An American Family," of course). Remember when we used to think the things on reality TV were -- well, reality? Those were the days. One thing that was true was Eric Nies from original "Real World" New York was one hot guy (I even had his calendar back in the mid-'90s!) . Thanks for setting the bar so high, Mr. Grind.

Eric Nies is hot as long as he keeps his mouth closed. But as simple eye candy he works fine. Although now I can't think of him and not think of that stupid jump rope from RW/RR Challenge.

He is so hot and dumb as a wall :heart My favorite line he ever said on The Real World was that he respected black people because they were so good at sports! LOL!!!
There is a frontal nude shot of Eric in Bruce Weber's photo book BEAR POND, from like ten years ago. The book is now quite rare. Copies go for a lot of money (not just because of the one photo of Eric).
I agree, he should just keep his mouth closed and he will be ok. I heard he is a news reporter for FOX TV in NYC. Lets see how long that last. Right, Eric is still single hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
i was fortunate enough to meet eric nies several years ago. . . he was exceptionally sweet and gracious and accommodating ! ! !
