The Hills Have Eyes Fake Tans ...

(Dateline: HOLLYWOOD -- HILLS, that is.)

Here's the first look at the "cast" of MTV's latest fake reality show, the "Laguna Beach" spinoff "The Hills," starring Marcia Brady look-alike Lauren Conrad (aka L.C.).

The show follows L.C. as she moves to Los Angeles and works as an intern at Teen Vogue with new pal Whitney (bottom, center) and studies fashion in school. "It's basically the 'Melrose Place' to 'Laguna's' 'Beverly Hills 90210,'" says "The Hills" creator and executive producer Adam DiVello, who also worked on the original. Rounding out the cast is roommate Heidi, right, and a neighbor of the girls' named Audrina (top).

When the season finale of "Laguna Beach" aired last fall, MTV was quick to show a preview of L.C.'s new show, yet it's been nearly half a year with no debut. Not sure if this was always the plan or if it's a sign that the show isn't panning out, but I will definitely give it a look when it premieres at the end of May.
