  • Who Wants a Spanking? An advocacy group for victims of sexual abuse by priests wants Francis Cardinal George to face disciplinary action for failing to properly address the widening scandal in the archdiocese involving sexual abuse by priests. This is how we got into this mess in the first place.) (CBS)
  • Pup Tent Love: This HBO commercial is hot. (via Towleroad)

  • Camp Falsehopes: I always wondered what was going to become of this generation whose parents instilled self-esteem in their kids and took an interest in their lives. Clearly, the results are tragic at best ... (Banterist)

  • 'Clean' House: First the overstuffed ballot box and now this. Glad to see the GOP has learned so much from the Tom DeLay fiasco. (WP)

  • Let the Reader Beware: Travel writer Joe Sharkey blows the horn on other people's blogs in today's paper: some "blogs are all attitude and no original research, seemingly typed by hung-over media manques whose idea of reporting is to tumble out of bed late each morning and desperately scan the newspapers for items to make sarcastic comments about." That is so not how I do it. I get home from work at 1 a.m. and scan the Internet for items to make sarcastic comments about. (NYT)

  • Bang-A-Gong: Scientists Find Oldest Ancestor of T. Rex. (Drunk in a bar in London, no doubt.) (WP)
