You Can't Go Home
(EDITOR'S NOTE: This post was written by guest blogger Frank Anthony Polito.) 2:35 AM... It's late.
Today after work around 5:30 PM I met my good friend, actor and fellow ex-Detroiter, Pamela Sabaugh (who appeared to critical acclaim in my play, Another Day on Willow St this past summer @ FringeNYC 2007) at Therapy...for "one drink." Which of course turned into two.
Pamela had to leave around 7:00 PM, so I decided to make my way over to Chipotle for a burrito bowl, before heading back to Brooklyn. At which point, my phone rang (a text, really). Another friend was in the area and heading over to...Therapy. So I turned around and headed back to W. 52nd St...for "one drink." Which of course turned into two.
Around 10:00 PM we headed towards the subway. Without a word of a lie, my phone rang (this time for real). Pamela had finished doing what she was doing and wanted to know if I wanted to meet her back at...Therapy...for "one drink." Which of course turned into two.

I suppose six Stellas in seven hours isn't too bad... Thank God our cocktail waiter, the oh-so cute Ian Anthony took real good care of us. When he's not waiting on drunk Hell-sea-wannabes, Ian can be seen in the upcoming New York Deaf Theatre's production of Pizza Man. At least I think that's what he called it... I'm afraid tonight I found myself a drunk Hell-sea-wannabe.
The Dunkin' Dounts coffee cake muffin never tasted so good as it does right about now!
