Song of the Day: 'Now I'm in It' by Haim

Missed this single by the Haim sisters last year, which will apparently be a bonus track on their upcoming "Women in Music Pt. III." (The album was postponed because of the coronavirus crisis.) Cute song and even cuter video -- especially the car wash part!

Song of the Day: 'Little of Your Love' by Haim

Just got the new Haim album but haven't played it yet -- some are comparing it with Wilson Phillips and Belinda Carlisle!

Song of the Day: 'Want You Back' by HAIM

Order HERE.

No complaints about the new single by the Haim sisters. Eager to hear if the new album is as consistently good.

Song of the Day: 'Rhiannon" by Stevie Nicks and Haim

Was awfully bummed I didn't make it to the (reunited) Fleetwood Mac show at Madison Square Garden -- Michael went and tells me it was incredible -- and this duet with Haim in Los Angeles even bummed-er. Listen HERE.

Song of the Day: 'Don't Save Me' by HAIM

Although they are current, I'm guessing my love of HAIM isn't scoring me too many points in the hip department. Still, I figured out in the shower yesterday what seems to appeal to me so much about the California trio, and any hint of relevance I may have tapped into will surely be erased with this revelation: Danielle, who is the niddle sister and lead singer, sounds shockingly similar to Michal Steele, who rarely sang lead but still managed to contribute several of the Bangles finest songs when she did, notably "Following," "Complicated Girl" and "Glitter Years." Do you hear it, too?

Song of the Day: 'The Wire' by HAIM

One of the (many) ways you realize how old you're getting is when you learn about "hot new bands" by way of "Saturday Night Live." But it's true that I saw sister-act HAIM the other night and was kinda blown away by their blend of folky California AOR and R&B. Sure, the blonde's kind of annoying. But Patti Smith in the middle and the fun one who also plays percussion kick ass!
