The New York Times reports that Elaine May will direct a PBS documentary about her former comedy partner, Mike Nichols. A slew of stars, including Steven Spielberg, Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Paul Simon, Matthew Broderick and Alec Baldwin, have signed on to discuss Mr. Nichols’s career, which spanned decades and included some of the 20th century’s most memorable works in film and theater. There was so much to love by one of the few people to win a Grammy, Oscar, Tony and Emmy, but if pressed, I'd probably have to say "The Graduate" and "Barefoot in the Park" are my two favorites -- and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” when I'm feeling homesick.
