Remains of the Day (10/15)

Caftan Chronicles: Billy Porter goes off

Variety: Bravo to Bill Maher, who says Chappell Roan would be thrown "off a roof" in Gaza: "If you think it was repressive growing up queer in the Midwest, try the Mideast." Yes you can walk and chew gum at the same time. But these #QueersForPalestine sound like they've completely embraced Hamas, while not giving a flying f**k about their Muslim brothers and sisters.

My local Irish pub, the Emerald Inn, has narrowly dodged extinction ... now if they could just relocate that right-by-the-bar bathroom! 💩

The Q for Palestine idiots need to travel there and have a Q for P Gay Pride Parade. You know, to raise awareness and stuff.

I've never understood why I should support the human rights of others only if they support me.
I'm against genocide even if most of the victims of the genocide are homophobic.

@Jim: That's what I mean by "walk and chew gum at the same time." Great that you condemn some violence -- but I've never once heard a Queer for Palestine condemn the government-sanctioned slaughter of LGBT Palestinians.

As for your "genocide" comment:

On Oct. 7, the government of Gaza -- which was elected by Palestinians -- murdered 1,200 men, women and children for BEING Jewish.

In direct response to this racially motivated attack, Jews are now retaliating against their assailants.

Which group is committing genocide?
