To fellow 23andMe participants: Have you checked your Ancestry Report since they updated their algorithms? Mine went from tracking exactly to what my known family history is (Census data, etc.) to being considerably different. (I think it's wrong now -- half a parent's background vanished.) I had hoped as they got more DNA samples it would become more accurate, but now I'm not sure what to believe.
On a separate note: Mine still shows 0.3 Ashkenazi Jewish. Does everyone show at least a small amount? (My hubby does, too.) I ask because we believed there was a Jewish connection but kind of thought the percentage would be a bit higher if what we have been told is correct. Thanks!
P.S. Still no sloppy serial killers found in my family, extended or otherwise.
