Song of the Day: 'Just for Tonight' by Django Stewart

The pedigree is there -- Django Stewart's mother is Siobhan Fahey (Bananarama, Shakespears Sister) and dad is Dave Stewart (Eurthymics) -- so what do we think of his latest, which he tells me "was inspired by Depeche Mode, alcohol, a death of a friend and a bad drug habit that I managed to escape years ago"

Django, center, formerly fronted a group with older brother Sam, right, called Nightmare and the Cat before they disbanded in 2015. I'm getting a Scissor Sisters vibe on this one, for lack of a better comparison.

P.S.

Django tells me he identifies as "a queer artist who is into gay monogamy" and is exploring his drag persona known as Slipper Boundary. Read about his first time out in drag (at Akbar in Silverlake) HERE.
