Does someone want to try to explain to me how it took nearly 30 years for me to realize that Rosanne Cash provides the backing vocal on "Born to Break My Heart," a standout track on Carly Simon's 1994 album, "Letters Never Sent"? It's always been the most poignant and haunting part of the song, which of course makes perfect sense now. Hear for yourself:
