Election Day didn't turn out as many of us had hoped. But removing this country's clearest and most pres(id)ent danger was the most pressing issue, and it appears we have succeeded!!!  

Today, PA Lt. Gov. John Fetterman summed up the president's carriage of himself over the last four years, and during this election, very nicely: 

"The president is no different than any other random internet troll saying crazy things that have no basis in reality."

We wanted to believe they were smaller in numbers but just "louder" than the good guys. We were wrong.

Democrats have just won the national popular vote for the 7th time in 8 elections, something no party has ever done before… 

… and yet Democrats are sweating out another Electoral College squeaker & have only appointed 3 of 9 Supreme Court justices.

Democrats got record turnout across the board, Trump was just able to tap into a strain of disaffected aggrieved American that otherwise doesn't engage in civic life. Dems of all ideological stripes got hit. The races we lost weren't because of ideology. It was cultural. 1/

Some interesting food for thought. As awful as things seem, I do believe there is something unique about Trump that cannot be duplicated, which gives me hope for future elections. Never underestimate Americans' obsession with fame.
