Following in the footsteps of a locked-down Crowded House, Modern English delivers another '80s classic from quarantine! "I Melt With You" only reached No. 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released in 1982 -- helped by its inclusion in the film "Valley Girl" the following year -- and then No. 76 when it was re-released seven years later. Yet despite these underwhelming chart positions, it has to be one of the most popular songs of the era. Would kill to know how much money they've made off it all these years. My brother Bill bought the 12-inch single, above, natch.
