Well, the Go-Go's still haven't been recognized by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Yeah, yeah, I know all about the brevity argument. But the Mamas and the Papas, Velvet Underground, Sex Pistols, Stooges, Ronettes, Lovin' Spoonful and many others each burned briefly but continue to influence each new generations, as do the Fab Five. One indication of lasting influence is how many people continue to cover the band's work, including these two recent contributions from the gals' seminal debut album, "Beauty and the Beat."
