It's so easy to think of Billie Jean King -- seen with longtime love Ilana Kloss -- as not only a women's and civil's rights icon, but also an LGBTQ hero. But if not for allowing her to learn from her mistakes and recover from her public missteps, we most certainly wouldn't be thinking of her that way now. Thank goodness Gen Z hasn't reexamined the tennis legend through the lens of youth privilege. I don't know about you, but I like people to evolve. If you're not following her on Twitter, you're really missing out on what an incredible person she truly is.
