Song of the Day: 'Girls Night Out' by Debbie Gibson

Billboard reports that Debbie Gibson is back in the top 10 of a Billboard chart for the first time in 31 years, as "Girls Night Out" zooms from No. 15 to No. 8 on the Dance Club Songs survey dated March 7. (Her voice is unrecognizable to me, but can't say I'm not lost in her eyes all over again!) Debbie's last top 10 appearance was "Electric Youth," which hit No. 3 on Dance Club Songs in May 1989 -- and nearly made the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at No. 11.

the beat and the music is pretty good. I'm not sure who's voice it is, but granted, Gibson IS 31 years older, still it seems very very very electronic generated. She could - and should - have toned that down. But, she's on the charts and I'm not, so.....
