The House Judiciary Committee quickly approved two articles of impeachment Friday against Donald Trump on party-line votes accusing him of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Following the panel’s deliberations, which lasted less than 10 minutes, Trump lashed out at Democrats, saying their actions are an “embarrassment to this country” -- a topic with which he is very familiar.
The full House is expected to vote to impeach Trump next week, though Moscow Mitch has said there is “no chance” his chamber will vote to remove Trump from office, prompting House Democrats to call on the Senate majority leader to recuse himself from the proceedings.
If what Trump has done isn't grounds for impeachment and removal, then nothing is. So my message to Senate Republicans would be if you don't convict, then we should just remove the option to impeach from the Constitution entirely ... only I'm afraid they'd take me up on it, knowing Democrats would never do anything to warrant it but there are plenty more where Trump came from.

He's right, if he means running a stop sign like Laura Bush did. https://t.co/dmR9oghSSR— Kenneth M. Walsh (@kenneth212) December 13, 2019

They're equating taking away a habitual runner of stop signs driver's license to a death sentence.
