Damian and I ventured out into Bushwick on a school night last night to see Bleached. (Details TK.) But one of the things that struck me about our adventure is that there are still a lot of young people who like actual music -- you know, with lyrics, melodies and music -- as demonstrated by the crowd who came out to see the aforementioned headliner, adorable openers The Paranoyds and the house deejay who played the B-52's, Pixies, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Smashing Pumpkins and even this classic by the Slits!
