Longtime Madonna collaborator Patrick Leonard has gifted us with three demos from the "Like a Prayer" era, include one song that has never seen release. "We argued a lot," Leonard recalled of the recording sessions. “She was going through very hard times,” he says, but making the so-called "divorce" album was her salvation. "Angels With Dirty Faces" (the name of an old Jimmy Cagney film) is an instant ear worm -- a little "Who's That Girl"-y -- that probably would have benefited from a better title.
