Having a great time in Rome this week, punctuated with being a member of a papal audience at the Vatican and trips to Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Tomorrow we return to Venice for one more night before flying home to New York on Friday. I’ve almost completely avoided reading the news these past three weeks — I’m guessing I didn’t miss anything ...
