This could be a good episode of "Law and Order" but it also reminded me of Hitchcock's "Rope" a classic thriller about gay murderers

I hope you caught the recent update to this story that was on CBS's 48 Hours. They aired the episode to coincide with the conviction of James Rackover. And yes, the gay aspect was mentioned.
I can't believe CBS was able to show the sex video and photos on network TV. My gay roommate watched in his underwear, and I found him unconsciously stroking himself, with a wet spot clearly on his briefs. I'm straight but must admit to being a little turned on too. Im not sure it was consensual though. I mean, if you were high, can you give consent? Still, the fact that they found both semen and saliva on the same spot on his briefs is pretty damning. Sorry but eating fried chicken was a poor alibi, i.e. I don't shoot semen while eating fried chicken, okay, rarely. And how did one of the straps on the jockstrap break? I've worked out real hard and my jockstrap never broke. The cops should've seen if there were marks on his wrist or neck that matched the strap, or even if it was used as a gag, like the Michael Jackson case (the so-called "fag gag", very popular in the NYC gay scene at the time of this murder. My roommate has a jockstrap just for faggagging in college). I also think the diary entry kinda confirms what the neighbors heard. I wouldn't necessarily call it a crime of passion (since we don't know if the feelings were mutual) but I wonder if there would've been a happier ending if the parents of the men were more accepting.
Saw the 48 hrs eps. I don't accept the drug deal went wrong, or argument went out of control explanations. I mean, what was that dirty jockstrap doing there? And why read his underwear torn? The host claimed that it was cut during dismemberment, but the hole just happened to be over the asshole??? And the rest wasn't cut? According to one report, neighbors thought the victim was a boyfriend, suggesting that he's been there before and that Rackover was known to be gay. Although Cbs didn't mention it, one of the photos they aired showed dildoes in the bedroom. They should check it for fecal DNA. One report said it belonged to one of the women. What kinda woman carries a dildo in her purse to go clubbing?? All in all,I agree with Willard's theory that he was murdered by Rackover's father out of jealousy. That is,he ordered the boys to do it and the victim was gagged with the jockstrap and sodomized (orally or anally) with the dildo as torture. They then all masturbated on him as he laid dying from stab wounds. That would explain the cryptic jailhouse conversation they recorded about "washing their jeans off him." That makes no sense since no one was wearing jeans to go clubbing. Willard thinks they mean "genes," as in DNA from semen.
