Canadian Figure Skater Eric Radford Shows His History-Making Medal to His Man

After having heterosexuality shoved down my throat my entire life, can't deny feeling a little emotional seeing Canadian figure skater Eric Radford share a proud moment with his fiance, Spanish ice dancer Luis Fenero. (He's the first openly gay man to win a gold medal!) Not very long ago, Radford would have had to have kept Fenero far away from the Olympics, for fear of being shunned, losing sponsors or physically harmed. Despite what the right says, LGBTQ people don't want "special" rights. We just want the same rights as everyone else -- and how many times have we watched wives and girlfriends embrace their men during a big moment? Nothing feels better than simple equality. And how nice that today’s queer youth have someone this wonderful to look up to. xo

I give them both a 10!

I'm with you on this Mr Walsh- these gay men and women make all us proud and the best way to silence any homophobe is to keep winning medals!
