A big thank you to everyone who sent me tips -- sorry if I didn't respond to you directly, so many of you were kind enough to weigh in and we only had a few days. Here are a few photos from around the famed Jackson Square, where we overdosed on coffee and beignets at Cafe du Monde, as instructed, before the storm descended upon us. In fact, we nearly got stranded in NOLA thanks to Hurricane Nate!
This was the scene at Pere Antoine during brunch earlier today. Fortunately, we were booked on one of the last flights out of Louis Armstrong -- many thanks to Bob for helping us with that -- so got out of Dodge just in the nick of time. Although we're already wishing we could go back, there was a furry little four-legged fellow here in Chelsea who was very happy to see us tonight!
