I'll believe it when I don't see it. But Sarah Jessica Parker told Extra that there will definitely not be a third "Sex and the City" movie.
“It’s over… we’re not doing it,” said the former Carrie Bradshaw. “I’m disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story. It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie.”Hillary Clinton also said she wouldn't run for president again after losing the 2008 nomination. But after those first two SATC movie doozies, this is news I'm hoping is actually true. (I'm guessing Kim Cattrall is to thank.)
For those playing the home game, SJP and Kristin Davis are now 52, Kim Cattrall is 61 and Cynthia Nixon is 51. I remember hearing Dorothy saying she was "in her 50s" during one of the first episodes of "The Golden Girls." When the show premiered in 1985, Bea Arthur and Betty White were actually 63, Estelle Getty was only 62 and Rue McClanahan was 51, younger than all four SATC women are now.

The SITC group is the same age as TGG? That’s hilarious (we SURE don’t view older people the same way today). I loathe Parker and the gang. I never got that show (or Entourage) and somehow feel better for it.
If they really wanted to do the movie they would re-cast the part or write a new character. The second movie was way too long.
Recast the part? Seriously? Just recast......LMFAO
FYI: If you have turn (your) head sideways, it's still not going to fit.
