A little family update: Blogging has been light as Damian and I have been in D.C. the past week spending as much time as allowed with my brother Bill, who was admitted to the hospital Tuesday when the usual home methods could not begin to adequately address his pain. (The entire clan naturally descended on Washington as well.) I am happy to report that two epidurals later he is now resting at home, where our mom cooked his favorite dinner from childhood last night, which was a sweet moment I will cherish so long as I live. xo
