In the never-ending world of funny coincidences, would you believe Damian and I were watching in the middle of the night an episode of "The Bob Newhart Show" the DVR had captured and it was the one where Dr. Hartley is treating two players from the Chicago Cubs? Mr. Newhart lived to see his beloved Cubs finally win the World Series, which sadly is more than I can say for Carol, Emily and Mr. Carlin.
"You Can't Win 'Em All" (Season 1, Episode 22): Bob helps a Cubs pitcher get out of a slump when playing baseball. The pitcher does well in the next game and credits it to Bob. Hearing this, another player, the catcher, goes to Bob for help.
