I actually like somewhere in between. Lightly muscled, but a little softness. Some guys are still cute as hell chubby (Chris Pratt). Others like me are not so lucky, cursed with a double-chin even when THIN.
But the fatness of America is easy to diagnose: more sedentary; easy access to cheap, fattening food; food is also very plentiful and takes no time to prepare (unless you want to); and people started eating until they're full ALL THE TIME, instead of just at Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you want to see how portions have changed, look up antique salad bowls and serving platters. Tiny.
I was fat and managed to loose it have kept most of it off- it's not easy and in this country we are constantly tempted by over size portions of fast food.
I like most sizes and have experimented with literally all sizes. But come the F on, he looks way better on the right. The left is not bad, I would be all over that (he's so cute).
I prefer the photo on the right. One problem with the left is that age appropriate stylish clothes do not fit anybody who is rounded these days. The guy on the left looks 25, but has to pretty much wear the same clothes as a middle-aged man which makes it easier to just give up and go ahead and get fatter.
This guy went to a lot of work to slim down and beef up. He looks great and very sexy in the photo on the right and like a shlub on the left. To each his own, for sure, but personally, muscle and hair and beard turn me on.

Watching TYT I could see his body looked quite large for his head so I was curious as to what was under there & I was not disappointed! He looks amazing. Very sexy. It just looks better & like you care when you're fit.

The chubby guy looks a lot sexier - dad bods can be hot
Yes, he was much sexier before he went in for heavy body-modification.
