Chelsea Says Au Revoir to Another French Restaurant

Quelle horror! Just noticed that 8th Avenue's longtime home for French cuisine between 18th and 18th streets -- as Gascogne forever, then more recently Montmarte -- is suddenly histoire. This joins the recently deceased La Luncheonette, leaving the neighborhood with no nice places to get cassoulet or trip over a crowded sidewalk of chainsmokers.

More about the Death of Chelsea's 8th Avenue HERE.
