New Details in Brutal 1992 Murder of Gay Sailor


Some news about a man who served his country who did not live to see Veterans Day today. More than 23 years after the brutal gay bashing murder of Allen R. Schindler, a U.S. Navy sailor stationed in Japan, new information about the Navy’s investigation into the incident has emerged from a Freedom of Information Act request filed by San Francisco gay activist Michael Petrelis. I watched the LifeTime Original Movie about this when I heard they made it. It was still shocking even after all those years. The injustice made me sick and I've never trusted the military again.
