Standard Pose

   I've been staying at the Standard Hotel, Hollywood, at least once a year since shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, when my friend Jay and I went on our already planned vacation. In addition to the fun rooms, great pool and ping-pong tables, the 24/7 Restaurant is one of the major draws, where it's nearly impossible to pick just one thing off the menu.
