I was just saying "fantasy" sports were for idiots -- and you'd have to be an idiot to pick Chris Evert over Steffi Graf in a tournament of champions! (Sorry, Chris ... and Ginny -- but come on!) Join the "fun" HERE.

Her men's bracket is very smart, aside from Emerson over Wilander.

These discussion topics are fun but nonsense. Trying to compare players from different generations by making adjustments and allowing for differences in technology, the types of games being played and levels of competition is impossible. I don't recall the article listing a particular surface. Plus, as with any rivalry today a top player is pretty much able to beat any other top player on any given day, as head-to-head records show. But GS records are different than Masters records, and different surfaces and conditions can create wildly different stats. And then there is quality of game vs likelihood of bringing that game consistently. On any given day Capriati (my all-time fav female player) could beat any other player and did. She could also lose to any player. Like Mary Pierce, who could hit you off the court or lose -0 and -0. Now, they put Edberg over Courier despite Courier having beaten him at RG, Wim and twice in the Aussie final. Why? They were contemporaries and Courier consistently beat him. Why re-write history? Edberg was certainly more consistent overall, but not when he played Courier.
