ESPN Suspends Reporter Britt McHenry

As the public shaming of Britt McHenry continues, the towing company where she launched a below-the-belt tirade is saying they don't want to see her fired. Unfortunate situation, but keep in mind that none of this would have happened if the towing employee hadn't been fat in the first place. #keepingitinperspective

Is this the same punishment we have been hearing about for days or has she now been further suspended? She deserves to be fired and have everybody from the towing company come to her home steal all her "rich girl" trinkets, so they don't have to be belittled for having to take such a menial job anymore, and then line up and sh!t in her mouth. Total pig.

I don't understand. Public internet shaming is identical to bullying. There is ZERO difference as both stem from meanness and cruelty. I agree that outing a cruel person to make them accountable for their actions is appropriate...like demanding your child to be honest when they break something that's not theirs. Honesty is the first step to change and forgiveness. If we continue to shame people out of jobs, shame them to commit worse crimes, shame them to fight back with more hurt and vengeance...them what have we really accomplished? Accountability means confessing up you your actions, possibly apologizing for doing wrong or at least accepting what was said if you feel in the right. Simple. Today the internet is feeling like a stoning in the town square where death is the only solution.
