Just woke up and am still pinching myself about last night's event at Book Soup. Will write a more extensive post when I get home, but I do want to thank everyone who came out to support me and my memoir -- and give a special shout-out to my friend Scott Prendergast for moderating. Saw so many friendly faces from the past and got to meet so many new and equally friendly faces. I'm truly touched and want you all to know how much it meant to me. Now it's time to go to the pool!

What a great turnout and a fun night. I loved hearing the story behind so many of the stories in the book. No - on to Portland! :-)
