'You See, It's All About Making an Entrance'

The Boston Globe reportst that the man who left two backpacks containing pressure cookers filled with rice at the Boston Marathon finish line will be arraigned today -- although I'm not entirely convinced being the perpetrator of the world's worst "joke" is a crime. Yes, Kayvon -- ne(e) Kevin -- Edson is an attention-seeking performance artist slash drag queen, who should be sentenced to watching "RuPaul's Drag Race" for two to three seasons. (I myself would prefer the death penalty, but that's just me!)

UPDATE:  He was charged with possession of a hoax explosive, threatening battery, threats to commit a crime, disturbing the peace, disturbing a public assembly, and disorderly conduct, according to the Boston Police Department.

Seems similar to shouting "fire" in a crowded theater, and diverts resources. I'd throw him in jail for sure.

I agree that RuPaul's Drag Race is cruel and unusual punishment - and lethal injection is preferable, but this prank is inciting panic at best.
