Two deadly large-scale accidents --- plus the Paul Walker tragedy -- over the weekend really shook me and just about everyone I know to the core. When I was in Phoenix for Thanksgiving, my stepfather told me that one of the reasons he decided to retire recently was that he witnessed a fatal car crash on the freeway he took every day to work, and he realized how easily it could have been him. Sobering reminder to live life to its fullest now.
