Sear-ed In My Memory

Sears took a real beating yesterday when the slideshow "18 Depressing Photos That Show Why Nobody Wants To Shop At Sears" went viral yesterday. But I'll tell you this: back in the 1970s, the company's catalogue never failed to get the job done with me.

Isn't the model on the left (in the lovely blue and green ensemble), Douglas Barr from Designing Women and The Fall Guy?

I have bought t-shirts at Sears because they carry "tall" and I have long torso but other than that, nothing purchased there since I was a kid.

I got all excited because the numbers looked like tabs and I thought they were paper dolls. They're not paper dolls (saddy face)
