A British colleague asked me why I was wearing a suit today and I started to answer -- "I'm going to a dinner tonight for ..." -- then backed up and asked: "Do you know what PFLAG is?" He said no, so I explained that it was a place for parents (and friends) to go when they find out their kid is a big homo. My colleague looked a bit perplexed and then responded: "I thought that was called a pub."
