Louie, Louie

Ever since I got an iPad for my birthday last year, my television watching has dropped to an all-time low. Something about having control over what I'm seeing/doing/reading right at my fingertips makes it nearly impossible to sit through a TV show now, even with my DVR. (I also routinely stay up till 5 a.m. reading the entire New York Times now, too.) One thing I was still watching when this sickness came about was "Louie," Mr. CK's sublime show on FX. But as is often the case, the minute I love something it gets discontinued -- I'm looking at you, Vanilla Frosted Chocolate Pop-Tarts and Pineapple-Orange Crystal Light -- and then Louie decided he needed to "take a year off." All of this is a long-winded way of saying that I was thrilled to see over the weekend that Louie is coming back, as detailed in this piece about how much he loves filming in New York City, where people "don't give a shit." I still watch "Web Therapy," but I'm ready for a show that actually makes me laugh out loud. (Hurry, Louie!) Read HERE.

The Melissa Leo episode was particularly ... hilarious!
