Enquiring Minds Want to Know ... More!

From the You Can't Make This Up files, via Gossip Extra:
In a lawsuit as strange as old tabloid headlines, National Enquirer heiress Lois Pope is being accused of publicizing personal details about a 10-year-old grandson — then buying kidnap and ransom insurance on the child and his family!
And now plaintiff Paul Pope, socialite Lois’ son and the father of the child, wants his elderly mother to pay him $5 million-plus for her emotional distress causing actions, according to the lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County.
It’s another salvo in an epic family feud and, ultimately, control over what’s left of the $412.5 million that the Popes received from the sale of the Boca Raton-based supermarket tabloid 24 years ago.
I wonder if Pope stipulated in the sale that she and her family could not be written about in the Enquirer, because this story was custom-made for them!
