King and Queen of the Desert

Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova were awfully impressive this past fortnight in Indian Wells, walking away with the so-called fifth Grand Slam title. Nadal overwhelmed Roger Federer, before stopping a resurgent Juan Martin Del Potro (how I'd like to see this one come back fully), while Sharapova found little didn't drop a set the entire tournament, dismissing Caroline Wozniacki, 2 and 2. If Rafa is this strong on hard courts now, I fear what kind of damage he could do the rest of the year.

Maria Sharapova is MY SITH LORD! One day, she will defeat Serena and all will be right in the tennis world. :) Thanks for posting this Kenneth. ;)

Nadal's biggest problem is his game which seems to make him prone to injury. I'm glad he's back. His presence has been missed.

Amazing run for Rafa since his return. Final, title, title, title. So happy to have him back! The game needs him.
